„Çukur“, was so viel wie „das Loch“ bedeutet, ist eine der kontroversesten und fesselndsten türkischen Serien. Die erste Folge dieser Krimiserie lief 2017. Sie spielt in einem gefährlichen Istanbuler Viertel und dreht sich um die Familie Koçovalı, die das Viertel kontrollieren und vor Drogendealern und Gangs schützen will. Die Serie zeichnet sich durch eine kraftvolle Darstellung aus und beleuchtet Themen wie Familie, Loyalität und Identität in einem rauen und widersprüchlichen Umfeld. Wir besprechen den Hintergrund der Serie, ihre Hauptfiguren, ihre Botschaften und ihre Wirkung.Dieser Teil ist auf Kurdisch und Türkisch. Geburtstage zählen zu den aufregendsten Festen im Leben. In der zweiten Stunde beschäftigt sich Radio Connection mit diesem Thema. Geburtstagsfeiern variieren von Land zu Land, da jedes Land seine eigenen Traditionen und Bräuche hat. In manchen Ländern gilt es als Glücks- oder Unglücksbringer, einen Geburtstag vor oder nach dem eigentlichen Datum zu feiern. Zu diesem Thema fand im Berliner Studio von Radio Connection eine Diskussion mit Gästen aus verschiedenen Ländern und in verschiedenen Sprachen statt. Sie sprachen über Geburtstagsbräuche in ihren Heimatländern. Dieser Teil des Programms ist auf Deutsch und Farsi.
